So, I’m leaving for camp tomorrow. I feel like everything is about to change and I couldn’t be more excited. I get to be in the woods with some of the greatest people, the cutest boy, and a bunch of funny kids. Its going to be my last summer at camp and I know it will be memorable and wonderful.
I’m actually really ready to be unplugged. At camp there is no cell service, I can only access internet when I have a break at the office, and the only way I can really talk to people is through letters. But I’m totally ready. I love all my social medias and netflix etc. but I’m looking forward to being completely focused on the people I’m with and the fun activities I get to do.
I mean…CANOEING! CAMPING! CRAFTS! TALENT SHOWS! DANCE PARTIES! CAMPFIRES! THE SWIMMING HOLE! ROCK CLIMBING! STAR GAZING! There are so many fun things to do and I can hardly wait. I know there will be hard things. Things I don’t enjoy. Difficult campers (I get the bad kids every year, its my curse). But I say bring it on!
